Back in June we heard that ZTE would announce an Intel-powered Android smartphone in the future. That day has come today, with the introduction of the ZTE Grand X IN.
The ZTE Grand X IN is powered by a single-core Intel Atom Z2460 CPU. Oddly enough, the copmany didn’t provide what clockspeed this will be running at. Other noteworthy features include a 4.3-inch qHD display, 1GB of RAM, HSPA+ 21Mbps, WiFi, NFC, GPS, Dolby Mobile sound, 8-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, and a 1,650 mAh battery. The ZTE Grand X IN will release with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board.
ZTE’s new flagship handset will be coming to Europe this September. No word on pricing nor a possible update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was given.
