It’s nice to see that Microsoft hasn’t forgotten the much needed 3rd party developers. The Windows Phone 7 Marketplace has currently over 13k apps in it, which is pretty awesome in the short time it has been available. Microsoft just announced at this year’s MIX ’11 keynote, that their Professional Developers Conference will hit in September 13-16, 2011. Anaheim, California, will be the lucky city to host all those computer geeks attending PDC ’11 PDC is the single biggest developer oriented conference organized by Microsoft. Microsoft will stream the two keynotes at this year’s MIX11. We’re expecting to hear a lot of interesting Windows Phone and Silverlight announcements. The rumors are gathering up for what is going to be announced at this year’s MIX. WinRumors wrote that the rumored new hardware specification for Windows Phone 7 could be on of those to see the light of day at the MIX11 keynote. This will be a cheaper hardware specification, rumored to be called Chassis 2.
