Speaking at Tech Ed in New Zealand, Keith Patton, a Windows Phone MVP, confirmed a few new features coming to Windows Phone 8. Speaking of the update process, one of his slides show that registered enthusiasts will get early beta access to update their devices before public release. Another great point on his slides is the fact that devices will receive support with updates for at least 18 months. That’s something that for instance Android users are not getting ;)
