We’re still waiting for news on when Windows Phone 8 and the new devices like the Nokia Lumia 920 and Samsung ATIV S will be made available. We’ve heard rumors that the OS is possibly delayed, but today we hear quite the contrary by the OS going gold. The software has hit release to manufacturing stage (RTM) meaning that work will not be done on the code, and that it’s practically ready for a consumer push. Manufacturers now need to do the final tweaking on their end, and when ready, release it to public. Yesterday we heard that AT&T will launch the Nokia Lumia 920 on October 21st. Could this be the first date when Windows Phone 8 is made available to end users?
