Windows Phone 8.0 SDK available now

Microsoft yesterday announced Windows Phone 8. It promised to deliver the Software Development Kit the day after, and now it’s finally available. The web downloader of the 64-bit version of Windows Phone 8.0 SDK is available now, with other versions surely following soon. Fire up this link for a download.

Windows Phone SDK 8.0 (x64) – Web Installer (English)

This software requires Windows 8 or later. The Windows Phone 8.0 Emulator requires a SLAT PC and Hardware Virtualization enabled in the BIOS. On a non-SLAT PC, you can use the SDK but cannot launch and validate your application on the Windows Phone 8 emulator. You can use a Windows Phone 8 device to validate your application.
