Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh fast-app switching

Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh, earlier Windows Phone Tango, includes some improvements for a heavy phone user, too. The fine guys from XDA Developers have been playing around with a recently leaked ROM of Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh, and they’ve found some things that Microsoft hasn’t announce yet.

RAM efficiency has increased, with build 8773 using 122MB of RAM versus the currently available build 8107 using 153MB of RAM. This has again led to an increased amount of applications kept in memory. The current fast-app switching interface allows 5 applications, while WP7.5 Refresh will allow for up to 8 applications to stay in the memory.
