Skyfire 3.0 for iPhone released – Deep Facebook integration

Browser war: Nexus One vs HTC HD2

In this browser speed test the contestants are Google’s Nexus One, and HTC’s HD2. As you probably know, the Nexus One runs on Android, and the HD2 runs on Windows Mobile. The test is done by using the fastest mobile browser we know of, in other words Skyfire.

Overall, loading times are much better on the HD2, but the user experience is better on the Nexus One. Also what I find a little bit disturbing on the HD2, is that it doesn’t show the page before its fully loaded. I prefer the method used on the Nexus One, since the user is able to view the page while its loading.

New beta version of Opera Mobile 10 and Skyfire 1.5

Opera yesterday released a new beta version of their Opera Mobile 10 browser. This is the second beta of the browser, and it was released for Symbian and Windows Mobile.

Also a new version of Skyfire 1.5 was released last night. The update can be downloaded for instance from Dailymobile’s page here.
