Boy Genius himself has a nice preview of the Motorola Droid(previously known as Sholes). They claim it to be the fastest Android phone they’ve used so far. It will run on Android 2.0 when it’s released. It is also the thinnest full QWERTY-slider, only a little thicker than the iPhone 3GS.

BGR has gotten their hands on a few pictures of the coming Motorola Sholes. The device will be Motorola’s attempt at Android with a full QWERTY-keyboard. The phone will most probably be released next week at the Mobilize 2009 Conference. It’s rumored that some other phones will also see the light of the day at this event.
