The HTC Ville has yet again posed in front of a camera. Rumored specs for the HTC Ville include a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU and a 4.3-inch AMOLED (qHD) screen packed inside a case that is 8 or 8.9mm thick. Android 4.0 together with the newest version of the HTC Sense UI will make sure everything looks good. So far we don’t have more intel on this device, but we’re expecting to get a full press release at Mobile World Congress in just 20 days.

HTC Desire S greySeveral UK owners have reported that they’ve seen their HTC Desire S updated to Android 2.3.5. The update can be downloaded as an over-the-air update. HTC has packed their newest HTC Sense 3.0 user interface in the updated bits, so you’ll see something that resembles that what you see on a HTC Sensation.

As usual, great work HTC on bringing updates fast!

HTC Desire HD

HTC has announced two new members to the Desire family (actually it was only one product before, but now became a family ;)). The HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z are the new members that we welcome with joy.

The Desire HD is basically an upgraded Desire. It has the same form factor as its predecessor, and comes with a 4.3″ touch screen. A 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 powers this beast. A 8MP camera with dual LED flash and HD video recoding is also on board. This is the first device that has the enhanced HTC Sense experience and is connected to HTCsense.com. Sound wise, this phone has Dolby Mobile and SRS virtual sound.

The Desire Z is a full qwerty-slider with a 3.7″ touch screen. There is a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 processor in the engine room, and a 5MP camera with flash and HD video capture to handle all your photo and video needs. The keyboard is what makes this phone interesting. The user can program the keyboard with shortcuts to favorite programs.

Both phones run on Android 2.2.

The new HTCSense.com service is much like Apple’s MobileMe. It will backup your messages and contacts to the cloud. It also has a ‘Lock your phone’ -feature, that will enable you to remotely lock down and locate the phone that you’ve lost.

Windows Phone 7 With Sense

An anonymous tipster sent the pic above to pocketnow, and he/she claims that it is how Sense UI will look on Windows Phone 7.

Microsoft has previously stated that UI customization can’t be done in any other way than by customizing the way tiles look in WP7. In the picture above you can see the clock with Sense, and also the weather tile in a Sense flavor. Keep in mind that this is just a rumor, and for instance the star-fog on the right side doesn’t look that professional. Also the background color on the clock tile is a little bit off.

The Android Eclair powered HTC Legend was released in Finland last week, and we got the chance to play around it for one night. The HTC Legends continues where the HTC Hero left. The phone also looks like an updated HTC Hero; the trackball has been replaced with an optical trackpad, the screen is a clear AMOLED capacitive touchscreen now, the bulky HTC extUSB connector has been replaced with a standard microUSB connector and the case is an unibody alloy casing that feels good in your palm.
