The long awaited Nokia N900 is finally shipping. There has been numerous rumors about the device missing it’s scheduled release date, again, but it is finally shipping. It will still take a while before the device will available in stores, since it will be first shipped to those that have pre-ordered the device straight from Nokia.
The first shipments will go to Europe, North America, Russia and the Middle-East.
The Nokia N900 has once again been hit with a delayed-stamp. This time the delay hits the Swedish market, with one of their biggest online-stores, Katshing, sending out emails to their customers who have pre-ordered the N900. They say that they won’t be able to deliver the N900 this year, but that it jumps to late January 2010!
A very impressive technology demonstration of the graphic capabilities on the Nokia N900. The game is rendered with OpenGL ES 2.0 and is hardware accelerated. The game runs on a resolution of 800 x 480. Boy that looks nice!
Slashgear has gotten their hands on a pre-production model of Nokia’s N900. The phone is hardware-vise final, but will see a firmware upgrade before it’s release. Seems like a very nice phone!
The NokiaBlog has posted a video showing how the Nokia N900 handles video recording. You can focus and lock it for video, but it’s not possible to change the focus during recording.
