The JailBreakMe 2.0 ‘Star’ disabled MMS and FaceTime for some iPhone 4 users earlier today. There is thankfully an easy fix for this: Add the following source in Cydia ‘http://iphonedelivery.advinux.com/cydia/‘, after that search and install the app iPhoneDelivery. This should fix MMS and FaceTime after jailbreaking the device. Please let us know if this for some reason doesn’t work, enjoy!

The Nokia N900 is finally capable of sending MMS-messages. The program that does this, is still in beta, and it can so far only send one JPG-, PNG-, GIF- or TXT-file at a time. The program is also lacking a GUI at the moment, and can therefore only be used by typing the command itself.

When you have finally installed the app, send the MMS-message by typing the following in your command line: “./mkmms /home/temp/photo.jpg m-send-req.mms subject”. This would send the file located in /home/temp/photo.jpg with a subject “subject”.

This is a small step forward, but it is now officially possible to send MMS-messages on the Maemo-platform.

It took two days for the MMS service to go down for AT&T customers. AT&T enabled MMS messaging for iPhone customers, and it has apparently resulted in a massive spike in network usage.

The whole MMS service isn’t down, it’s not just working for all customers. BGR called the customer care and got a response that there is a small latency issue in their MMS service. No estimate for a repair time was revealed.

Just plug your iPhone to your computer and fire up iTunes. You should see the same text as in the image above. Enjoy :)

Those of you affected by this, will have to download a new carrier file though iTunes on Friday.
