Apple hasn’t actually told much about the technical specifications of the iPhone 4. We for instance don’t know the speed of the CPU, and until today we haven’t known the amount of RAM it carries. The 3G has 128MB, the 3GS has 256MB and the iPad has 256MB. Apple told at the WWDC to developers that the iPhone 4 will have 512MB RAM, and the image above is from WWDC to prove this. If you are a registered Apple developer, check out the WWDC video called ‘Session 147, Advanced Performance Optimization on iPhone OS, pt 2′.

The amount of RAM will ensure a snappy multi-tasking experience.

Apple today gave an official statement on how many iPhone 4′s were sold during the first day of pre-orders. The same time they also apologized for the problems that were caused by this massive demand.

“Yesterday Apple and its carrier partners took pre-orders for more than 600,000 of Apple’s new iPhone 4. It was the largest number of pre-orders Apple has ever taken in a single day and was far higher than we anticipated, resulting in many order and approval system malfunctions,” the company said.

“Many customers were turned away or abandoned the process in frustration. We apologize to everyone who encountered difficulties, and hope that they will try again or visit an Apple or carrier store once the iPhone 4 is in stock.”

Pretty amazing don’t you think?

The same guy, comex, who’s behind the famous Sprint jailbreak solution has managed to port Flash to the iPhone. This isn’t a JavaScript solution, but a real Flash solution. Steve Jobs must like the guy behind this AND the Sprint jailbreak :)

This is just a preview of what he has managed to do, but a working solution could be headed to jailbroken iPhones around the world anytime soon.

A nice hands-on video by IGN on the iPhone 4 and iOS 4.

An Apple design video, showing a ‘how it’s made’ for the iPhone 4 that was announced earlier today. Damn cool video!
