Verizon is currently pushing an OTA update for the DROID Incredible. The update will not bring Android 2.2 on board, but for instance Skype, 720p video recording, mobile hotspot functionality and a new boot-up animation is added by this update, so you could actually call it a big update.

Guys from pocketnow.com takes a look on the new Verizon branded HTC Droid Incredible. The Incredible has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 8GB worth of internal storage, 512MB ROM, 512MB RAM and a 8 megapixel camera with a LED flash.

The Nexus One has some major problems with its display, and especially with its ability to understand multi-touch. The display doesn’t accurately sense multi-touch gestures across the same axis. In the video above, you can first see a demonstration on a HTC Droid, and after that for comparison the Nexus One.

The video shows exactly what the problem of the Nexus One is. When using two fingers and moving them over the same axis line, the screen doesn’t display the correct position of the red/blue indicator on the screen.

Google has blamed the sensor for this, but now Android and Me has revealed that the sensor is working as it was designed to. It was never designed for multi-touch input like this. The sensor used on the Nexus One is Synaptics ClearPad 2000.

Another comparison video after the break showing the difference between the Nexus One and a HTC Incredible. The HTC Incredible uses a Atmel maxTouch sensor, that was originally designed to handle multi-touch gestures.

Boy Genious Report has posted a short video walkthough of the HTC Incredible. The phone will be available on April 29th.

phandroid has received an internal product launch hype email from Verizon Wireless. They think that this is about the HTC Incredible being released on Monday, but I think that it is Microsoft’s Project Pink that will be launched and headed to Verizon Wireless. The lines “It’s time to share” and “Let’s get social”, are the same lines that Microsoft used in their invitations for the Monday’s event.

This basically confirms that Microsoft will in fact launch the long rumored Project Pink phones Turtle and Pure.

A cool looking phone leaked by Pocketnow.com. The HTC Incredible will sport the following specs:

  • Snapdragon processor
  • Android 2.1
  • Sense UI
  • 3.5″ or 3.7″ AMOLED screen
  • Dual LED flash
  • 256MB or RAM
  • Optical mouse pointer
  • And by the looks of it, the camera lens is at least 5MP

A few more pictures after the break.
