A pretty basic browser speed test between the Motorola Droid, iPhone 3GS, Nokia N900, HTC HD2, Nokia N97 mini, Palm Pre and BlackBerry Storm. The iPhone 3GS is still the fastest, while the HTC HD2 comes in at second place. The only one I’m missing from the test is Google’s Nexus One.
You can see how big of a different the CPUs make. The HD2 sports a nice 1GHz CPU, while the Omnia 2 clocks in at 800MHz. Both phones run on Windows Mobile.
HTC patented a stylus for a capacitive screen a few months back, and now it seems that it will become a real product. Clove, an online store in UK, has an HTC HD2 Capacitive Stylus listed on their site. It is still not available, but it is expected to be priced at £15 (17€).
Mobileburn has put together an over 20 minute long video-review of the HTC HD2. It will have a massive 4.3″ WVGA capacitive touch screen. To get this screen filled with stuff it sure needs the following, a 1GHz snapdragon processor, 5MP camera, WiFi, A-GPS and Windows Mobile 6.5.
According to a blogger in UK, the HTC HD2 will be released in UK on November 11th. The unlocked version will come with a price tag of £469, which is about 500€. A carrier bound version is set to be released in December.
