Toni Nikkanen, a finnish hacker, has managed to install OS X 10.3 on his Nokia N900. This is probably the first time a full OS X version has been installed on any smartphone. The OS is working, but it’s totally useless because of the slowness. It took 2 hours from boot-up to the About this Mac screen you can see in the image above.

In the Nokia N900 update that was released earlier this morning(2.2009.55.1, PR1.1), came an undocumented feature. By pressing Ctrl+Shit+O in the web browser, you will enable the hidden portrait mode that was called a bug a few weeks ago.
