The Nokia E75 just got a firmware update that brings up the version number to 211.12.01. The update can be obtained as an OTA update or via the Nokia Software Updater. The Nokia E75 has User Data Preservation, so you don’t necessary have to make a backup of your system, but it is highly recommended to do.
Here is a changelog catched from ZOMGItsCJ:
- Corrections done concerning e-mail client: contacts and calendar sync starts failing specifically with exchange 2003 SP2 server
- Corrections done concerning OMA DM remote configuration problem
- Corrections done concerning FOTA server profile, wherein PC-suite has been set as the default profile instead of Nokia, this has been corrected.
- Improvements to the device lock functionality

Nokia’s E75 got today updated to version 210.12.15.
Special character related issues are fixed, but I can’t go into more details
And I promised to add some information of what is in this release:
MfE client update, fixes for both HTML error message and special character related problems in some environment. There’s also some changes which reduce the amount of time which is spent during sync. The biggest thing is that this client update will also reduce the current consumption of the device significantly. I suggest that you enable the “always on” option for sync and see for yourselves. Of course the current consumption with other options (15min / 30min etc) are also improved.
Other things, like the accidental keypress filter have been improved which speeds up the SMS / email writing with QWERTY, GPS problems have been fixed, some VoIP and WLAN specific improvements etc.
Remember to make a backup of your system before updating.

Nokia’s highly successful phone, the E75, that was released last year has now been marked ‘End-Of-Life’.
It is possible that Nokia will release a new version with for instance an added car kit or something else. But at least for now, the retail package has been EOL’d in Finland.

This software release includes improvements in overall performance, notably in the e-mail and calendar applications. With this release, large numbers of contacts can be handled more easily. This release also allows for faster internet browsing, with smoother zooming and an automatic full screen mode. To get this software through your device, type in *#0000# on the home screen or go to Device Manager. Select Options > Check for updates and follow the on-screen prompts. Additionally this software release is available through the Nokia Software Updater: www.nokia.com/softwareupdates.
And don’t forget to make a backup of your phone before updating.
