Unfortunately, this didn’t fix my application. I’m still unable to use the Facebook application on my iPhone 4. I get constant errors like the one seen above. Waiting for a 3.2.2 release..
There’s an insanely irritating bug in iOS 4.0.1, at least for me. Emoticons appear in SMS messages I receive and send, even though I’ve chosen not to see them. A restart of the phone doesn’t help this either, the emoticon Toggle found in Settings -> Messages doesn’t have any effect in my case.
Rogers have stopped sales of new HTC Dream phones, due to a software glitch in the phone. The bug is caused by the GPS software, and affects the ability to make emergency calls to 911.
Those of you who have a HTC Dream phone, should disable the GPS feature on their phone. HTC is currently working on a fix to this problem.
Sony Ericsson suffered today another setback, when the Aino was suspended in the United Kingdom. About one week ago also their Satio phone was suspended.
The reason behind this is the high return-rate on the phone, but the problems are software related. This is good news for Sony Ericsson since it can be fixed with a firmware update.
