LG today announced the LG BL40 New Chocolate: Christmas Edition. The Christmas Edition has a better camera, some gold figures on the case and a chance to win over 5 Million Korean Won in prizes(about 3100€). The camera is a 8MP AF instead of the 5MP that was seen in the original edition. No word on pricing or availability yet, but it’s highly doubtful that we’ll see it anywhere else than in South Korea.
This very long touchscreen phone will be released in Europe in a few weeks, and everywhere else in the world in October. And with everywhere else LG means that in 50 countries :) Read the whole press release here.

What makes this phone unique, is its very long 4″ screen with an aspect ratio of 21:9. The screen takes up most of the whole front area of the phone. The phone itself seems to be quite responsive, and the touchscreen is also working well. Video after the break, enjoy!
