It was only a few days ago when Samsung released their ad that mocked Apple fans. I found this ad to be pretty hilarious. Now Samsung has done it again and released an ad that continues from where the last one ended. This time they tackle the apps, and the Apple App Store that doesn’t have a trial function. Not as hilarious as the first one, but I can see some hard-core Apple fans going nuts over this ;)

Steve JobsShocking news this morning – Steve Jobs has died at the age of 56. Steve Jobs passed away after a long struggle with cancer.

While being the CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs brought the following revolutionary products to the market: iTunes (2003), the iPhone (2007), the App Store (2008), and the iPad (2010). The whole technology industry has a lot to learn from this magnificent guy. Thank you for all that you’ve done!

R.I.P. Steve Jobs!

Facebook made today an interesting move by releasing the Facebook Messenger app. This is simply their messaging solution in one app, and nothing more. Users can send messages directly to friends or groups. Additionally, the user can choose to send an image or share a location with a friend.

Messenger is a separate app, so it only takes one click to get to your messages or send a new one. Messages are delivered through notifications and texts, so your friends are more likely to get them right away.

You can use Messenger to reach all of your friends — whether they’re on Facebook or in your phone contacts. All you have to do is type the person’s name.

The app should hit Google’s Android Market and Apple’s App Store in the coming few hours.

Apple has been forced to remove Exodus International from the Apple App Store. This app was there to “help” gay individuals turn straight via the Bible’s teachings, a very controversial app indeed.

A petition to remove the App has been raised, and later signed by over 125,000 individuals. This petition led to Apple removing the app called Exodus International from the App Store.

Thanks, Øyvind for the tip! :)
