Samsung’s JK Shin confirmed today that a Samsung Galaxy S III Mini (GT-I8190) will be announced tomorrow. The blogosphere went crazy with rumors, and now we get a leaked render together with specs.
As the name would suggest, the phone looks similar to the Galaxy S III, but in a smaller shell. The display measures 4-inches, 800×480 pixels, and is of the Super AMOLED variety. Inside we have a dual-core STE U8420 clocked at 1GHz, 1GB of RAM, HSPA support, 5MP camera with LED flash, microSD card slot, 16GB of internal memory, WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth, 1500mAh battery and Android 4.1. These specs would put the Galaxy S III Mini in the 400 EUR category.
What do you think of this? I think specs like this are not worthy the Galaxy S III name.
