Not that many believed that Samsung would have a hit in their hands when they released the Galaxy Note. However, it turned out to be a real goldmine for Samsung, and to date they’ve managed to sell over 7 million Notes globally. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that a new Galaxy Note is on its way.
According to recent leaks, a certain Galaxy Note 2 is aiming for a release in October, which is exactly one year after the original was released. The Galaxy Note 2 will pack a 5.5-inch screen (the original had 5.3), a massive WSXGA+ resolution (1680 x 1050 pixels), 8-megapixel camera, 1.5GB of RAM, Exynos 5250 chipset with dual-core ARM-15 internals and 4G connectivity.
