Google released Android 4.1 Jelly Bean roughly two months ago. Owners of the latest “Google developer phone”, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, should receive new updates soon after the new OS is released, but this time around it didn’t go as promised. Google delivered the update to Galaxy Nexus owners in the States, but for instance we up in the Nordic countries didn’t hear of it. This finally changed today, when Samsung began the delivery of Android 4.1 in Sweden. Google does not deliver software updates over-the-air in here, so the update needs to be delivered by the manufacturer, thus delaying the update. The update going out today is based on Android 4.1.1.
