Two interesting HTC Windows Phone 7s leaked – Ignite and Prime

- 3.7-inch resistive touchscreen
- 800 MHz CPU, likely a second-generation Snapdragon
- 512 MB RAM
- 5-megapixel camera with LED flash
- 3G 7.2Mbps down, 2Mbps up
- WiFi, Bluetooth
The Prime will be exactly like the Ignite, but with a slide-out QWERTY-keyboard.
Microsoft’s Chassis 1 requirements for Windows Phone 7 require a capacitive touchscreen, and a minimum of 1GHz CPU. The fact that these leaked HTC devices have specs below that, could mean that the tipster didn’t get the specs correct, or then these will be one of the first devices to be classed as Chassis 2. We still don’t know what the Chassis 2 will be like, but one guess is that it will not be that requiring. That way we’d see cheaper Windows Phone 7s hit the market. Cheaper Windows Phone 7s is something that Nokia has also been talking about.
