Sony Ericsson Teaser

Sony Ericsson CES Teaser

Sony Ericsson has used their Facebook page to tease of a “big announcement” coming at CES. Some bloggers have suggested that the device teased above is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, but we’re not 100-percent sure of it. The camera focused teaser suggests that we will see a pretty big sensor on this device.

Just a few more days till the start of CES 2012.

 Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 live

I always try to post rankings of sold phones in Finland when I find them. Now Kauppalehti has published DNA’s ten most sold phones in December, 2011. DNA is one of the largest operators in Finland.

When looking at the list below, it does come as a surprise that the Samsung Galaxy Mini is in the first spot, followed by the iPhone 4S and Galaxy S II. I guess this could be caused by many buying a cheap smartphone as a Christmas gift? ;)

  1.  Samsung Galaxy Mini
  2. Apple iPhone 4S
  3. Samsung Galaxy S II
  4. Samsung Galaxy S Plus
  5. Nokia C2-01
  6. Nokia 500
  7. Nokia N9
  8. Samsung Galaxy Xcover
  9. Nokia C1-01
  10. Nokia C5-00

Nokia Lumia 900

Nokia Lumia 900?

A TheNokiaBlog user has put together the three images of the Nokia Lumia 900 that we saw leaked a few days ago. The result is the mockup you see above. It looks great, doesn’t it? We don’t know for sure if this actually is what the Lumia 900 will look like, but it is a damn good guess. Just a few more days ’till CES 2012 where we’re expecting to see this announced.

iPhone 4 Alarm Bug DST

Still remember that alarm bug that caused so many iPhone uses to oversleep a year ago? The bug is again active and has caused alarms to fail on January 1st and 2nd. However, iOS 4.2.1 seems to be the only version that is causing it, so if you’d run the newest version, you wouldn’t have these problems! I guess its time for everyone to update to the major new software version called iOS 5. This also means that owners of older equipment than iPhone 3GS are left with a faulty alarm, sorry. The problem will yet again self-corrent on January 3rd.

Samsung Galaxy Note with AT&T branding

Samsung Galaxy Note with AT&T branding

Samsung surprised all when they brought a 5.3-inch smartphone/tablet to the market and actually managed to sell a lot of them. Now this massive smartphone is on its way to the States and AT&T. The image above is a render of the Galaxy Note with AT&T branding.

We’ll most probably see this announced at CES in little over a week. Pricing and availability remains unknown.
