Nokia today released its Q2 2012 results, reporting an operating loss of 826 million EUR, with net sales of 9.275 billion EUR (down 19-percent YoY). Total smartphones devices sales were 10.2 million, of which 4 million Lumias. The total smartphone number is down 39-percent YoY, and 14-down QoQ.
The bright side is that Nokia’s Lumia series managed to grab a share of nearly 40-percent of Nokia’s smartphone sales. Nokia’s stock in the Helsinki Stock Exchange is at the time of writing this post up nearly 17-percent, and trading at a price of 1.6 EUR a share.
