The Verge reports today of a leaked device called Nokia “Flame”, which according to their sources is a Lumia 710 successor. The device is aimed as a low- to mid-range device, with a 4-inch screen, 512MB of RAM, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel camera, and 4GB of internal storage. Judging by the storage capacity, I’d bet that there is a microSD card slot hidden somewhere, too. The Nokia Flame will run Windows Phone 8.
Availability remains unknown, but some suggest that the release is set to happen in Q1 2013. Given Nokia’s recent naming scheme with the Lumia-refresh, it’s possible that the Nokia Flame turns out to be called Nokia Lumia 720.
