Nokia took the wraps off their insane camera technology called PureView at this year’s Mobile World Congress. The company released the Nokia 808 PureView, which is a Nokia Belle FP1 based smartphone/camera hybrid with a crazy 41-megapixel sensor.
Many were wondering why Nokia didn’t choose to run Windows Phone on the Nokia 808 Pureview. Luckily enough, Nokia is already working on bringing a Lumia series phone with PureView technology on board.
Finnish newspaper Aamulehti reported today that Nokia’s Jo Harlow has told them in an interview that Nokia is working on bringing PureView to their Lumia series. When asked on actually when this will happen, the answer was soon. A rough translaton of Jo Harlow’s words, “I can’t say precisely when, but it will not take very long.”Read more: via
