Nokia USA released a few 808 PureView teasers over the weekend. We got a map that pinpointed Hawaii’s area code of 808, and a picture of a Roland TR-808 audio board. Both include the magical number 808, indicating that USA will get the Nokia 808 PureView. Today, the announcement has yet to come, but Nokia USA’s page already lists the 808 PureView. Check out the site yourself here. Nokia has yet to announce carriers or a price for the 808 PureView. This will all be clear in a while when Nokia makes the U.S. version of the 808 PureView official.

BTW, just checked Nokia’s specs, and it lists the following bands:

  • GSM 850
  • GSM 900
  • GSM 1800
  • GSM 1900
  • WCDMA Band V 850
  • WCDMA Band VIII 900
  • WCDMA Band II 1900
  • WCDMA Band I 2100
