9to5Mac reports that they’ve discovered that Apple’s official iOS 6 emulator is capable of automatically scaling its home screen to fit a taller 1136×640 resolution display. The current generation iPhone has a 960×640 display. Earlier rumours and leaks also suggest a taller iPhone 5, making today’s news much easier to swallow. A taller screen would allow for 5 rows of icons to fit on the screen instead of the 4 rows that we have in today’s iPhone. Roughly a month more until the final iPhone 5 announcement.
