Elop: Nokia continues to invest in low-end device development

Nokia CEO, Stephen Elop, said that Nokia will continue to invest in low-end phones research and development.

Nokia’s strategy includes spreading the mobile Internet to the next billion users. Stephen Elop commented that to achieve this, Nokia still needs to invest in research and development of low-end devices. Nokia will invest in dual-sim phones, and also in their Touch & Type -devices. This would mean that development continues on S40 Touch.
