iPad 2 vs iPad 3

MacRumors has managed to obtain a display that is going to be found on the iPad 3. The display looks roughtly the same to the naked eye, but when inspected under magnification, you’ll see that the pixel density is different. For every four pixels on the iPad 2, there will be sixteen pixels on the iPad 3. This means that when we today have a resolution of 1024×768, we’ll get 2048×1536 on the iPad 3.

The iPad 3 is expected to be announced on March 7th.
