Windows Phone 7.8 is out now. It’s been out for roughly a day now. The update goes out in 4 waves, and should complete by March. Those of you who have a Nokia Lumia can check the update availability from Nokia’s Support pages by following this link.

Since a lot of our readers come from Finland, here is Finland’s availability. According to the support page, those in Finland with a real “Suomi puhelin” should be able to get the update now. Just connect your Windows Phone 7.x to Zune or Windows Phone Connector for Mac in order to update. Keep in mind that you’ll probably need to go through many update in order to receive the latest (this is because WP updates are incremental).

I just updated my HTC Titan with WP7 connector for Mac. It required two updates before I got a chance to update 7.8. I live in Finland.
