Joe is passionate about cartography and flying. He took a helicopter tour of Berlin and tracked the helicopters GPS position with Ovi Maps on his Nokia N97 in offline mode. Before getting on the helicopter he used Nokia Map Loader to preload the map of Berlin and Brandenburg on his phone.

The Ovi Store got today updated with a fairly big update. This is what Nokia has to say about the goals for this update:
- Make it easier to browse, search and discover content
- Improve the quality of content reviews (eg: change from 3 to 5 star rating system)
- Provide more product information to help you decide what to buy

Geohot, the guy behind the famous one-click-jailbreak-solution for the iPhone, has released a video of what he calls an Untethered Jailbreak for the iPhone. This new way should also work on the iPad, and it remains to be seen if geohot will actually release this when the first iPads get to their users. And the new untethered means that it is all software based, no tethering/loaders are needed for this to work.
Here is what Geohot wrote on his blog:
The jailbreak is all software based, and is as simple to use as blackra1n. It is completely untethered, works on all current tethered models(ipt2, 3gs, ipt3), and will probably work on iPad too.
Don’t ask about a release date. You won’t make it happen any sooner.
For the time being, you can download the current Blackra1n version here.
