Facebook 3.2.1 bug

Only a few hours after the initial 3.2 release of Facebook for iPhone comes a bug fix 3.2.1 update. Apart from fixing bugs, they’ve also removed Places from all except the US version.

Unfortunately, this didn’t fix my application. I’m still unable to use the Facebook application on my iPhone 4. I get constant errors like the one seen above. Waiting for a 3.2.2 release..

Facebook for Android just got updated to versoin 1.3.1. This minor .1 release fixes a bug that caused the application to drain your battery very fast.

Here is what was written on the Facebook Wall (aka changelog for this update):

Includes a fix for the battery drain problem some of you were running into

Route 66 for WaveSamsung has a long relationship with Route 66, a navigation software used in some of their phones. Now you can get lifetime navigation for your Samsung Wave, or S8500, that runs on Samsung’s bada OS.

For 29.99€, you will get lifetime navigation in one country, for 39.99€ you’ll get Eastern or Western Europe, and for 49.99€ you’ll get lifetime navigation in Europe.

Of course this isn’t the same as what Nokia is currently offering with its FREE Lifetime maps for some Nokia phones, but it certainly is worth it if you use your phone as a navigator.

The offer is valid till the end of this year, and can be bought by following this link.

For you BlackBerry fans out there, this is for you. A (-nother) video of BlackBerry 6 on a BlackBerry Bold 9780. Both the OS and the 9780 looks interesting, too bad they don’t sell BB’s here in Finland.

Video of the Ovi BlogRadio that was released earlier today. I basically reads your RSS or Atom feeds out loud.

The first Ovi Browser beta is here. The Ovi Browser is a Series 40 browser packed with a good compression algorithm. Nokia tells that this will reduce over-the-air traffic of up to 90%.

The Ovi Browser is powered by patented Internet compression technology that delivers advanced web pages to your phone. The result is that pages show up quicker than ever, plus over the air data is reduced by up to 90%. Beyond performance, the browser includes an innovative user interface that makes it easy to access your favourite content directly from the start page without having to hunt through menus.

Sounds like a Nokia coded Opera Mini..?
