Today, we got evidence of Philips’ new Android smartphone. Three images and specs leaked of what is told to be the Philips W920.
This mid-range device packs a 4.3-inch screen (480×800), 5-megapixel auto-focus camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 running at 1GHz, 512MB of RAM, 120MB internal memory, and a microSD card slot. On the connectivity side the Philips W920 understands 3G frequencies. What does come as a little surprise, is the fact that it runs Android 2.2 Froyo, which is very old in today’s standards.
No word on when, where and for what price the W920 will be available. Skip past the break for two additional images.
