Nokia used their Twitter account today to bring a little surprise for current Nokia Anna owners. They said that the Nokia 500 will get updated with Nokia Belle (earlier Symbian Belle) next week. Nokia has earlier told that the OTA update process will being in early February, so it does come as a little surprise to see it delivered ahead of schedule.

MeeGo PR1.2 now going out to developers
Jonne Eilimö | January 17, 2012 19:15 UTC | 0 comments | sourceMeeGo users out there can soon celebrate with the release of software version dubbed PR1.2. The update has just started going out to registered N950 developers. It should take roughly a month before the final update will hit N9 owners out there.
We will be shortly releasing a developer edition of MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan 1.2 beta (feel free to crack a joke v 1.2 here) to developers with Nokia N950 Developer Device. The goal of this early access release is to enable developers to verify that their applications do not exhibit any regressions in the new platform version.
This release will be available as a one-click-flasher for Nokia N950 Developer Device. In other words, in order to participate in this beta you need to already have a Nokia N950 Developer Device.

Nokia and AT&T announced the Lumia 900 today at CES. This is the first Windows Phone device that supports AT&T’s speedy 4G LTE network, meaning that you’ll see speeds up to 50Mbps. LTE support is provided by a new OS version dubbed Mango Commercial Release 2.
Other important specs of the Lumia 900 include a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display (800 x 480), 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8055 + MDM9200, 512MB RAM, 16GB internal memory, 1840mAh battery, 8-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens (f2.2/28mm), a dual LED flash and a 1-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
I’d love to get my hands on this device!

Nokia Lumia 900 render morphed from 3 leaked images
Jonne Eilimö | January 3, 2012 01:29 UTC | 0 comments | sourceA TheNokiaBlog user has put together the three images of the Nokia Lumia 900 that we saw leaked a few days ago. The result is the mockup you see above. It looks great, doesn’t it? We don’t know for sure if this actually is what the Lumia 900 will look like, but it is a damn good guess. Just a few more days ’till CES 2012 where we’re expecting to see this announced.

New Nokia Lumia 900 renders leak – AT&T, 4G and front-facing camera confirmed
Jonne Eilimö | December 31, 2011 01:22 UTC | 0 comments | sourceMicrosoft sent out an interesting Christmas card to their partners this year. It wasn’t just a basic Merry Christmas card, but it actually included renders of an unannounced device, the Nokia ‘Ace’ Lumia 900.
As seen in the images above, this device does have a front-facing camera, 4G connectivity and AT&T branding. Previous rumors have suggested that the Lumia 900 will basically be the Lumia 800 but with an updated radio chip to add LTE connectivity. If the renders are true, then this isn’t the case. We’re expecting, and hoping, to see this device announced at CES in a few weeks.

Paul Thurrott, who usually has a good insight into Microsoft’s doings, has told that Nokia is preparing to launch the Ace in March. The LTE equipped Windows Phone device is expected to be carried by AT&T in the States. Mr. Thurrott stated that the device will be announced at CES. Can’t wait to hear more of this!!
Nokia, HTC, Samsung working on LTE capable Windows Phones
Jonne Eilimö | December 30, 2011 10:42 UTC | 1 comment | sourceCurrently one of the biggest missing features from Windows Phone is 4G LTE connectivity. In my opinion this isn’t a big deal, but it does become quite an effective weapon when someone’s trying to bash Windows Phone. Luckily, this is about to change in the near future. We already know that Nokia’s Ace will be one of the first to bring LTE to Windows Phone. Now we’re hearing that also Samsung and HTC has LTE products in the pipeline.
HTC is working on a phone currently called Radiant. Samsung again is working on Mandel. Not much is currently know of HTC’s Radiant. Samsung’s Mandel is said to come with a really big screen, even bigger than 4.3-inches. Both phones should run a pre-Tango version of Windows Phone, with the only difference from Mango being LTE connectivity. Can’t say if this is true or false. We’ll just have to wait.
We’re expecting to hear more of these devices at CES in just a few weeks time! Stay tuned!
