JailbreakMe 3.0The super long awaited browser-based jailbreak for iPad 2 has finally been released. JailbreakMe 3.0 supports every iOS device running version 4.3.3, including the iPad 2.

To install this jailbreak, you simply need to open up Safari on your iOS device, and head over to Jailbreakme.com. Press one button over there and watch your device being jailbroken! Couldn’t really imagine a more simple way to do this. Amazing work comex!

The jailbreak uses a flaw in Safari’s PDF component. Apple will most probably release a counter-measure in the very near future.

LulzSec is now pretty well known around the world. This is the group that did a hacking spree that lasted 50 days. During these days they hacked many large organizations, like Sony, like AT&T. Now they’ve released an image of what is claimed to be the iPhone 5. AT&T should release this device in August or September. Take this rumor with a MASSIVE amount of salt.

Here’s the document that confirmed the timing and LTE capability.

Apple today released a second beta of iOS 5. Currently there are no reported new features. Issues with WiFi syncing have now been addressed.

PopCap acquired by EA

Rumors have been flying around this morning telling that PopCap would be acquired buy some company for over $1+ billion. That mystical buyer is now told to be Electronic Arts. TechCrunch heard this from two different sources, who both claim that EA is the buyer. $1 billion is roughly 13% of EA’s market cap, so this is a huge bet for EA.

iPad is now changing the way we do just about everything, from watching a newspaper to looking at the stars.

Ever heard of a company called Nuance? Well, it has been countless times been rumored to have been bought by Apple, and that it is in fact the company that is behind Apple’s speech recognition software used in Mac OS X Lion.

Well that same company also has an app called SpeechTrans Ultimate, which is currently available in the Apple App Store. What makes this super interesting is the screen shots of the app posted in iTunes. The image you see above does look a lot like an iPhone 4, but it isn’t an exact copy. The screen is much bigger on this one. In fact, the screen could be 4-inches. The currently shipping iPhone has a screen size of 3.5-inches. It seems like the screen got bigger, but the size of the device will stay roughly the same. The image clearly shows the nearly borderless screen layout, which is a feature rumored to hit the next generation iPhone (iPhone 5/4G/4S).

Check out the Nuance’s SpeechTrans Ultimate app from the App store here.
