HTC Flyer

HTC Flyer

The HTC Flyer was released way back in May with Android 2.2 Froyo. Soon after this the company announced that they’re bringing Android 3.2 Honeycomb to it, and today is the day when the update arrives. The update should now be available as an OTA update that weighs in at 210MB. Happy updating!

HTC Ville

Pocketnow has once again secured a render of a still unannounced device. This time it is the HTC Ville that has leaked. The device above comes with a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED screen, 1.5 GHz dual-code Snapdragon S4, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1650mAh battery, and Beats Audio technology.

The device will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board. Even though its not required in ICS, this device appears to have capacitive buttons at the bottom.

Maybe the coolest thing about this is that it will be the thinnest smartphone till date, measuring in at under 8mm in thickness. For comparison, the iPhone 4S is 9.2mm, the Samsung Galaxy S II is 8.49mm to 9.91mm.

We’re expecting to see this announced at MWC 2012, and launched in April.

HTC SensationEuropean HTC Sensation owners should check to see if they have an update for their device. This should be the case since HTC released version 1.50.401.1 in the usual HTC style, which is over-the-air.

Evgeni Pavlov, Product Manager at HTC Russia, tweeted that this particular update will include the following: “Twitter API, Qualcomm patch, Touch panel drivers, Market v.3 apps availability”. Happy updating!

iPhone 4S second most popular on Flickr
The iPhone 4 has for a while been the most popular cameraphone on Flickr. The iPhone 3G has been the second most popular, and the iPhone 3GS the third most popular. This situation changed pretty fast after the iPhone 4S was released.

Today, the iPhone 4S has been available for little over one month, and it has already climbed to be the second most popular cameraphone used on Flickr. It will be interesting to see how high the device can climb.

The only non-Apple cameraphone is the HTC EVO 4G, which keeps a steady 5th position in popularity.
