Samsung Galaxy S II Plus white
Eldar Murtazin leaked today an image of a device believed to be the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus. He didn’t specifically mention what device this it, but given that it looks a lot like the Galaxy S II, I’d say that it is the Galaxy S II Plus.
The Samsung Galaxy S II Plus is expected to get a speed bump to a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU. The buttons have been slightly redesigned and gone all capacitive to match with Android 4.0′s overall design. As of now, Samsung has only one device running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and that is the Nexus S. The Galaxy S II Plus would hence be the company’s second ICS device.
An announcement at Mobile World Congress in a few weeks is highly possible.

Samsung Galaxy S III
Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S III have been going crazy around the blogosphere today. Apparently mobilecowboys.nl, a Dutch tech site, received a hint that the Galaxy S III will arrive on March 13 in Turkey. The source they cite has proven to be accurate in the past, so this could be real. Then again, it could be false. The source couldn’t provide any physical evidence, so take this bit of news with a pinch of salt.
Additionally, the source claimed that Samsung is going to release a variant of the Galaxy S II called the Galaxy S II Plus, and a variant of the Galaxy Note called the Galaxy Note S. Both of these devices are currently planned for Q4 this year, so right in time for the holidays.

Sony Xperia P
Every new phone that is brought to a market needs to collect a selection of stamps and small print before it is released. One of these stamp-companies is the Indonesian Telecoms Regulatory, which approves or denies a device for the Indonesian market. A Sony ST25i Kumquat just received its approval from the Indonesian Telecoms Regulatory body. The most interesting fact about this is that they also revealed the marketing name for the ST25i, which is from now on going to be called the Sony Xperia P.
We’re expecting to see the Sony Xperia P announced at MWC next month.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance
The Samsung Galaxy S Advance, or GT-I9070, leaked today. As you’d expect, this places somewhere in between the original Galaxy S+ and the new Galaxy S II.
The Samsung Galaxy S Advance comes with a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA (800×480) screen, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, 1,500 mAh battery, 3.5mm audio-jack. All of the aforementioned is run by Android 2.3.6. The whole phone appears to be a bit curved, so it’s a nice addition for the Galaxy series.
We’re expecting to see this announced at MWC in a few weeks.
