Jim Keller, who joined Apple when it acquired P.A. Semi, has left the company for AMD. During his stay at Apple, the guy was tasked with developing the A4 and A5 processors found inside current iPhones and iPads. Apple surely lost a big asset in low power optimisation and performance. A successor at Apple has yet to be named.
