Rovio’s Peter Vesterbacka said during the Mobile 2.0 Europe conference that their smash hit game Angry Birds has continued to receive over 1 million downloads a day. Last time we heard download numbers of Angry Birds was in October 2010, when Rovio informed that the game was downloaded 2 million times in 2 days. Great for the company to keep the same pace for roughly 8 months! Rovio has been providing continuous updated to Angry Birds, and they’ve also released the game on basically all the leading mobile platforms, inlcuding iOS, Android, Symbian, webOS and soon Windows Phone.
