Sorry for the late post today. I’ve been on the road from Vaasa to Helsinki (420km). TechDays Finland 2012 will start tomorrow, and I’m going there! Drop me a line in the comments/Twitter if you’re going, too!

Google today announced that they’ve decided to rename the well known Android Market into Google Play. Google did this to make it clear that Android Market doesn’t just only offer apps, but also games, music, books and movies.

With the new Google Play you can:

  • Store up to 20,000 songs for free and buy millions of new tracks
  • Download more than 450,000 Android apps and games
  • Browse the world’s largest selection of eBooks
  • Rent thousands of your favorite movies, including new releases and HD titles

Google is currently offering a “7 Days to Play” sale to promote their new Store.
