HTC Wildfire S announced – Gingerbread with a low price

HTC Wildfire S

HTC today announced a set of Android devices at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The cheapest of them being the Wildfire S. I’d say this is currently the cheapest phone to run on Android Gingerbread.

The HTC Wildfire S comes with the following specs:

  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense UI
  • 3.2-inch HVGA touch screen
  • 5 MP camera with a LED flash
  • microSD card slot
  • 600 MHz CPU
  • 1,230 mAh battery

The HTC Wildfire is expected to ship in Q2.
