Nokia today announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Motally Inc., a privately-held US-based company. Motally’s mobile analytics service offers in-application tracking and reporting, and is designed to enable developers and publishers to optimize the development of their mobile applications through increased understanding of how users engage. The service offering is planned to be adapted for Qt, Symbian, Meego and Java developers, and Nokia plans to continue serving Motally’s existing customer base.

“The acquisition underpins Nokia’s drive to deliver in-application and mobile web browsing analytics to Ovi’s growing, global eco-system of developers and publishers, enabling partners to better connect with their customers and optimize and monetize their offering”,  said Marco Argenti, Vice President, Media, Nokia.

Motally currently employs a team of eight people.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close during the third quarter of 2010.

iPhone 4 White

The video looks authentic and it looks like an iPhone actually MADE my Apple, not some DIY white iPhone 4 thing. For instance the flash on this device looks legit, with its silver border. The silver border didn’t look like this on the DIY white covers for the iPhone 4.

Facebook 3.2.1 bug

Only a few hours after the initial 3.2 release of Facebook for iPhone comes a bug fix 3.2.1 update. Apart from fixing bugs, they’ve also removed Places from all except the US version.

Unfortunately, this didn’t fix my application. I’m still unable to use the Facebook application on my iPhone 4. I get constant errors like the one seen above. Waiting for a 3.2.2 release..

Eldar Murtazin just posted 4 images of the Nokia N9! I have to say that it looks awesome!!

Samsung Galaxy S - White

Samsung announced yesterday announced a Snow White version of their Samsung Galaxy S. The phone has a white back cover, a silver bezel and a black frame around the screen. The previously leaked all white phone didn’t happen, but I think this one looks better.

Maybe we’ll see an international launch for the white color in the near future?
