Sony Ericsson Working on a PSP Phone with Android 3.0
According to an engadget tipster, Sony Ericsson is working on a PSP Phone that will run Android 3.0. The phone is said to be a combination of the Samsung Galaxy S, and the PSP Go.
It will have a landscape slider with the basic QWERTY keyboard being replaced by gaming controls. The slider will come with the standard D-Pad, PSP buttons and a “long touch pad” for analog controls.
The rumor tells that the PSP Phone will have a 3.7 to 4.1 inch screen with WVGA or better resolution. It could come with a 5 megapixel camera, but that hasn’t been finalized yet. We’ll see a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU power this phone. The phone will come with both PSP and Xperia branding, and should be black with silver highlights.
The new Android Market should contain games designed for this device, that will be graphically in the range of PSX and PSP. The engadget tipster says that this phone could see the light of day as early as October, just in time for the holiday sales.
Sounds like a really cool device, doesn’t it?
