Screen Comparison: SLCD vs AMOLED
Check out this screen comparison pic from Cnet Asia. On left we have a Desire with Sony’s new Super LCD screen, and on right a Desire with the ‘old’ AMOLED screen. In this test I’d say the AMOLED is better.

On top we have the AMOLED Desire, and underneath it is the same phone with Sony’s Super LCD screen. In direct sunlight I’d say the Super LCD looks better.
