An interesting video that came out from Google Android’s test lab. Jeff Sharkey, Android engineer, tries to figure out which screen color is the most energy efficient on an AMOLED screen. With the dark red tint, most sub-level pixels are turned off, and battery consumption is nearly half of that with a “normal” AMOLED screen.
