Top 15 Handset Models in Finland – Nokia at 88.7%

Aalto University has conducted a study of what mobile phones Finns use. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Nokia is a clear winner, with a share of 88.7%. The most popular phone is the Nokia 2760, with a share of 4.7%. The newer Nokia 3120 Classic comes in at second with a share of 4.1%. The first smartphone, Nokia E51, is at 10th place with a share of 2.0%.

These stats are based on actual usage numbers, that Aalto University gathered from mobile network operators in Finland. Apple’s iPhone is missing from this list, since Sonera didn’t want to go public with their iPhone sales.
