HTC: Android Tablet, 1080p Video Recording and 5.1 Surround Sound in the Works


Managing Director for HTC South Africa, Quinton Leigh, spilled some info about HTC’s future plans.

In a Press Release where he announced for instance the HTC Desire, he also spilled HTC’s plans.  He said that HTC is currently working to bring out a Google Android-based tablet, 1080p video recording and 5.1 surround sound to its upcoming mobile phones. We should see these features appearing in phones possibly in the second quarter of 2011

Another interesting bit of information is that we will see HTC phones capable of HSPA+ speeds up to 14.4mbps during the third quarter 2010.
