HTC patents dual-screen touchscreen phone

HTC has filed a patent for a dual-screen touchscreen phone concept. The ‘other’ screen could be used either as a secondary screen, or then as a QWERTY keyboard. When the phone is opened all the way, it would function as one big screen. The design is much like the one seen on the Nintendo DS, but without the bezel around the display, and of course with full touch support.

Gizmondo points out that the most obvious OS would be Android, since it has already proved good on a dual-screen setup (enTourage eDGe a.k.a the dualbook).
